Danielle: I'm taking a break at the Gallery. It took us forever to find it. We could see the climbers above and headed for them, but then came to a halt at a deep ravine. We were yelling up, "How did you get there" and it turned out we had to head way left. It was really tricky in spots getting there in my opinion. Lots of narrow places where if you took one wrong step, down you would plunge.

Tad: I think that Danielle's most memorable few steps from the scramble were when she had to step over a crevice which was about two feet wide and at least 15 feet deep. Oh, did I mention that the rock on the far side was not flat? it sloped up so that it felt like it was trying to push you back into the crevice.

Anyway, Danielle is sitting here at the base of the climb named Sport Climbing Is Neither, rated 5.8. This is the only climb we had a chance to do there, because we climbed Bonaire and Bon Ez in the Black Corridor before hiking here. We didn't get here until after 3 PM, so we only had a chance to do the one climb a few times, since the park closed at 5 PM.
