Danielle: Actually Tad's body is blocking it, but he's taking out protection that Robert had placed on his way up. Usually I always seconded the climb, but since we were only doing one pitch, it wasn't necessary to trail a rope. This way, Tad cleaned the route (taking out the cams/nuts) that were placed. Tad took his time, examining how Robert placed it. Sometimes he would put back and in a couple of times. This way when Tad goes to lead a route he'll have a better idea of the type of cracks he should be looking for.
