Danielle: We were hightailing it down the mtn. Running against the clock! Tad actually let me get this shot off, and then continued on at an almost dead run. We were sliding through the snow, trying not to wipe out. This picture is one of my favorites. The looming mountains overlooking the lake create a spectacular backdrop.

Tad: This is the view back the way we came up. The view is of Gillmore Lake, where we went swimming, and the snowy peaks behind. If we had sleds, getting down back to the lake would have been a blast. It still was quite fun. We had trekking poles, so I would get a running start, lock my feet in place, push with the poles, and ski down the snowfield with my feet.
