Danielle: We finally made it to Gillmore Lake! Though we still have another couple miles ahead of us to the summit. We stopped here for lunch and soaked in the gorgeous outdoors.

There was a couple that was setting up a tent on the bank of the lake. That would have been amazing to sleep out here and watch the sun set and rise. So peaceful. I wish we could have stayed here longer.

Tad: I agree with Danielle. If we were able to go out just for a weekend of hiking and camping, I would vote for hiking up to a place like this, setting up camp on the shore, and just relaxing. Watching the sun set and rise from here would be so wonderful.
