Tad: This shot gives some excellent perspective of the terrain between Gillmore lake and the summit of Mount Tallac. It was mostly grass covered meadow, and as you can see from the trail in front of me, most of the snowmelt chose to descend along the trail, so we were basically walking through a stream.
